"Using Social Media and Other Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) to Assist Investigations." In this session, Stacy Lawrence, Connected Research, LLC, will share with us the concept of OSINT and tapping the power of social media to build a subject's profile, including the immense possibilities, and limits, of these techniques.  In addition, we will learn how to protect ourselves, and our case, during an online investigation.

Speaker - Stacy Lawrence

Stacy has been focusing solely on conducting social media and OSINT research since 2014. Her training has been provided by mentors and employers as well as through Intel Techniques, Camelot investigations, and Toddington International, just to name a few. She has logged over 5500 hours providing research to private investigators, attorneys, and employers and has conducted six training presentations since 2019, four of which were for CALI.
